alias_mp Alias Manager (Available with Pupil Tracking Plus)
When producing reports for parents it is not always desirable to use the alias for departments, shared fields or general fields that are used by Pupil Tracking for column headings on a daily basis. Using the Alias Manager a real name can be entered for each department and field heading to be used on a report for parents. Where a real name is not provided the alias will be used.

Department Names
In the example below the department alias ICT is used by Pupil Tracking. However, it may be more appropriate to display the real name 'Information Communication Technology' on a report to parents.

Shared Field Names
In the example below many shared field aliases have been replaced with more descriptive real names which will appear on reports to parents.

General Field Names
In the example below the general field aliases for CAT scores have been replaced with more descriptive real names which will appear on reports to parents.
