Importing general data

From the Administration Menu, click on Import Manager > Import general data

Use Ctrl+click or drag the mouse to select the fields to be updated from the Available General Fields: box. Pass the selected fields to the Fields to be updated: box using the horizontal arrows. Next click View necessary file format. A child window will open containing the order of columns that Pupil Tracking is expecting the csv or text file to contain. At this point it is possible to either re-order the columns in Excel to match the necessary file format or use the vertical arrows to make the column order match the order of columns in the csv or text file.

Click on Browse to locate the csv or text file to be imported, then click on Upload to upload your file to Pupil Tracking.


IMPORTANT:
Always use the export tools to backup data before importing data to Pupil Tracking.
