Pupil portal

The pupil portal is available wherever you see the pupil portal icon graduate. The pupil portal displays all the information and historical data available on Pupil Tracking for a single pupil. Portlets available within the pupil portal include:

Pupil Profile
The pupil profile portlet displays the subject, set and shared fields for each subject a pupil currently takes. When clicking on the pupil portal icon through View, Compare or Edit, the pupil profile will automatically display the shared fields selected on the previous page. It is possible to edit the shared fields displayed within the pupil profile portlet by clicking on Edit pupil profile and selecting the desired shared fields.
Subject Profile
The subject profile portlet displays shared/department fields for individual subjects that the pupil currently takes. If using the pupil portal as a departmental user it will only be possible to view department specific fields for the currently logged in subject/department.
General Profile
The general profile displays all general data for a pupil.
Favourite Groups
The favourite groups portlet displays School Favourite Groups that a pupil belongs to for each subject.
Reports
The reports portlet displays reports created through the campaign manager. On clicking a report link a PDF document will be compiled and downloaded to your computer. Please note, reports are always compiled based upon a pupil's current year group, tutor group and set information. If you wish to retain the exact contents of the report, please save a copy to your computer.
Notes
The notes portlet displays notes for a pupil. It is possible to create a new note by clicking on Add a new note from within the portlet. By checking the Make this note available to external users check box it is possible to make the note available to pupils, parents etc...

Click on the print icon printer_sp available to the right of each portlet to open a child window suitable for printing.

Expand portlets
It is possible to view all portlets in a single window by clicking on Expand portlets. By clicking on Toggle portlets it is possible to show/hide individual portlets. When used in conjunction with Organise portlets this enables the user to view exactly the portlets they wish to see one above the other in the order they wish to view them. Click on Roll up portlets to return to the tabs view.

Organise Portlets
It is possible to re-order the portlets by clicking on Organise portlets. Use Ctrl+Click to select/deselect multiple portlets. Use the up and down arrows to re-order your portlets. When the desired order has been achieved click on Save. Note, cookies are required to save newly ordered portlets. Cookies are saved along with your Windows profile on the computer or network you are currently using.

TIP
If you want to view the same portlet for each pupil in a list of pupils then simply re-order the portlets with the desired portlet at the top. This way it is possible to click the pupil portal icon for each pupil in a list and display the desired portlet for each individual pupil. For example, you want to view notes for each pupil in a list you have created though View or Compare. Use Organise portlets to bring the Notes portlet to the top. Now each time you click the pupil portal icon the Notes portlet will be displayed.
