table_sql_run Query Manager
The Query Manager enables administrators to manage custom queries, custom query groups and predefined queries. Queries executed through the Query Manager update fields to a value or to the contents of another field based upon criteria set by the administrator.

Examples of when to use the Query Manager include:

Scenario 1- You are running a campaign containing locked historical data fields, but pupils who have entered the school recently and who have blank historical data fields are showing up when auditing a campaign.
Query 1 - Run a whole school query to populate all the blank fields with N/A.

Scenario 2 - You want to populate the field Y11_Traffic_Light with RED, AMBER or GREEN depending on differences in a pupil's GCSE target grade and grades predicted using teacher assessment.
Query 2 - Run a series of whole school queries using different criteria for each traffic light colour. Create a custom query group so your traffic light query can be managed as a single entity. Alternativley you can use Pupil Tracking's predefined traffic light queries.

Scenario 3 - You have created the non-academic department SENCO and you would like a member of that department to keep the department specific field On_SEN_Reg up-to-date with pupils who are on the SEN register. However, you would also like to make this data available to the whole school as a general field.
Query - 3 Run a custom query that updates the general field On_SEN_Reg with the contents of the SENCO specific field SENCO_On_SEN_Reg. Schedule the query to run every night thus enabling the whole school to have access to this data.
